If not, like us, we will choose another place for our next visit. If you don’t mind paying a premium rate for beachfront property and sharing it with others who pay a nominal daily fee, then this place is perfect for you. After chatting with other guests, we figured out what was happening. We are not ones to complain, so we didn’t say anything. However during the last few days, we noticed more outside people using amenities. I titled this review Hit or Miss because we were there for several days and had no issues. I highly doubt the resort would rent 1 or 2 guest rooms and allow 20 people to stay so why would they allow a few people to purchase a daily pass and bring 20 people into the pool/beach area? We were not aware of this policy when booking and it is something you should know if you decide to book here. We had the unfortunate experience of having a group of 20 people including 10 children added to the pool and beach area. But most importantly to note, this small 31 room resort property sells daily guest passes to the public and they do a poor job monitoring these outside guests. Also, for a small apartment-like suite, not having a washer/dryer setup was inconvenient, especially if you are staying for several days as we did. It was clearly broken prior to our arrival - this is something that should have been replaced prior to our checkin if the rooms were being inspected as they should be in a 4 star property. Thankfully, no one sat on it when the leg decided to go. One of the chairs in the vanity area was broken and when we moved the chair, the leg fell off. Clearly chosen by a designer for photos but not someone who had comfort in mind. An impractical glass top coffee table with cubes doesn’t make sense since it’s not made to rest your feet when watching tv. The leather sofa certainly looks beautiful but was not comfortable. The bed was super comfortable and daily housekeeping was what one would expect for a 4 star resort. Lovely resort with very nice amenities - we stayed in the 1 bedroom suite gulf side. We didn’t use the outdoor grilling area, but would have if we were with a larger group. The suite was well equipped for cooking, which would have been handy for a family, but we enjoyed dinners out, then came back for sunset. It was also renovated and decorated nicely and very clean, with a great view, but pretty basic and not that big. My husband I wanted the privacy of our own room, and our room was fine. Completely renovated, very lovely, clean and very spacious. My daughter and granddaughter splurged on 201, a king suite with full kitchen. The beach was lovely and not crowded at all. We got a cabana, which was reasonable, and well worth it, to be able to get out if the sun, as we’ve both had skin cancer. The pool was huge, fabulous and sparkling clean. We were with our daughter and granddaughter.
